  • When did you start training?: At the age of 23
  • What is your Motivation to compete, stay in shape?: My main motivation is my inner drive and my goal to always be as healthy as I can be and in the best shape possible. This is a great question that I get asked quite frequently. My motivation comes first and foremost from within -- I believe that is the only way to maintain a drive over the long-run. What adds to my motivation is my desire to inspire and help others. The fitness modeling is wonderful and I enjoy it tremendously, but my main goal is to in some way help others to say hey, if she can do it, SO CAN I!!
  • What goals do you have in bodybuilding?: To lead by example…to help as many people get motivated as I possibly can.
  • What goals do you have outside of bodybuilding?: Same as above.
  • What advice would you give to beginners?: That is the hardest part. Once you start to see and feel the results of a proper workout regime, you won’t look back

While weight lifting, I train as HEAVY as possible! I know that many girls fear lifting heavy weights because they fear that it will cause them to become too bulky, but that is more fiction than it is fact. I lift as heavy as I possibly gain to be fatigued by the end of my desired rep range for that particular workout. If I'm not making a ridiculous face by the end of the set, it's not heavy enough! Ha! :)

Competition History

I competed in 2008 in the INBF “Best Body” competition in NYC and placed fifth. While I absolutely fell in love with bodybuilding years ago, and while I train daily like I am getting ready for a competition, I must admit that I did not fall in love with the stage. Therefore, that has been my only contest to date, but I have still been able to gain tremendous ground in the fitness industry “off stage” over the past couple of years and cannot wait to see what the future holds!
