Team RWB Old Glory Relay
We have some exciting news to share with you all! This year, Labrada Nutrition has been selected by Vitamin Shoppe as one of the key sponsors for the Team RWB (Red, White, and Blue) Old Glory Relay. To provide a little background, Team RWB is a national organization centered around bringing together military veterans through various fitness events and activities (https://www.teamrwb.org/).

Each year, they host what is called the “Old Glory Relay” where Team RWB members, as well as volunteers, cross a pre-determined distance while carrying the American flag to raise awareness for veterans and the various issues that they deal with on a daily basis as a result of their sacrifice.

This year is especially significant, as it marks the 20th anniversary of 9/11! The relay is scheduled to begin in NYC at Ground Zero on 9/11, and end at Team RWB Headquarters in Atlanta on 11/11 (Memorial Day).

Lost 14 lbs

My goal was to lose weight from having a baby at 41 years old, to gain muscle, and to firm up. I also wanted look my best for my oldest daughter's wedding that we were planning in May. I feel so much better about myself and I have more energy. Even with challenges, I did NOT quit, despite wanting to throw in the towel! I cannot wait to be able to finally go back to the gym, and also, to go to a playground and run around with my 4 year old!!

The physical changes were the standard ones that I was expecting, shirts too big, pants way to big etc. The physical changes were pleasing, don’t get me wrong, but being able to handle the stress of leading a warehouse through a pandemic while continuing my program and having positive results. The Challenge, once I adjusted to the new normal, became something that I could lean on (no pun intended) and give me some small time away from the daily stressors.
