The Greatest Gift of All

If you’re already someone who lives a healthy and active lifestyle and works to be in your best shape ever, then consider this renewing your commitment. If you’re someone who has yet to start working on achieving your ideal body and improving your health, then please continue reading.

We are always looking around this time of year for the best gifts to give our loved ones. The Holiday spirit is at an all-time high and we work to get the best items possible to show those we care most about how much we love and appreciate them. Well before you finalize that shopping list and begin “wrapping up” your Holiday commitments, consider this.

I know what “the best gift” is for your family and friends this year. There’s no doubt in my mind that they’ll love it. Whether it’s your children, parents, siblings, co-workers, buddies, or anyone else on your list this year, this will be your best gift that you can possibly get this year and I guarantee you, yes GUARANTEE, that they will appreciate it more than anything you could’ve got on Black Friday and they will appreciate it long after the year is over. Here’s the kicker. This gift is so awesome you can get it for yourself too. Matter of fact, I assure you that you’re going to get it for yourself if you decide this is the gift that you’ll get for everyone.
Your best gift is you at your best.
WHAT?!

Yes you read that right. Being at your best is your best gift to give those you love this year, next year, and every year after. I know what you’re already asking, “so what in the heck does that mean, Roger?”

This time of year is all about showing your love for those closest to you. You appreciate them being there for you when you need them and they feel the exact same way about you. They want you around for the good times, the bad times, the tough times, and the easiest moments too. It’s never certain how long we will be around but if we work to get into our best shape possible physically then other areas of your life will improve as well. You may have already read (more than once) how your own life will get better in many different ways by focusing on our bodies and physical condition but how is this the present to share with your loved ones? For that matter, how else will I get myself this gift that I get for them?

As you improve and the benefits of fitness flow into other areas of your life, you will be even stronger and more confident in yourself to be that support system when you’re needed. Plus when you’re happy, they’ll obviously want you around more. Most importantly, you can inspire them to make their own commitment to achieve and be their best so they’ll eventually see and reap all the benefits you already know all too well about. The ultimate result is a much healthier family and group of friends that not only will celebrate a much healthier and happier season next year and for many years after, but you’ll have played a role in creating a stronger support system for yourself when those inevitable tough periods come up in your own life. That is the gift you will give yourself by giving the gift of your best self to everybody else. Now tell me a better gift than that. I can’t think of one.
Happy Holidays!
