TELL NEGATIVE THOUGHTS TO ‘TAKE A HIKE’ AND FOCUS ON WHAT YOU LIKE!

Labrada fans, we all have features that we do not like about ourselves, but how about the things that you DO like? Why focus on what you consider to be a FLAW when there are so many other traits that you can FLAUNT?

For example, if you do not consider yourself to be especially good in one area or subject matter, give yourself a pat on the back for the ones that you do EXCEL in! Training-wise, if you are lagging in the development of a body part, take notice of the ones in which you have made great PROGRESS! I could go on and on about this, but it all boils down to the same thing: Tell your NEGATIVE thoughts to “TAKE A HIKE” and instead, FOCUS on what you LIKE!

With so many thoughts going through your mind each and every hour, you may be thinking, “This is impossible!” Well, yes, it certainly would be impossible to monitor them ALL! But, why not switch that thought and focus on a solution? (See? We are practicing already!) So, how do you know when you are not THINKING positively? Well, how are you FEELING? If you are feeling “down”, you can be sure that your thoughts are the culprit! As soon as you notice that you are not feeling at your best, take a second to determine where your focus was…and change it to something that makes you happy! Regardless of what the thought was, just make sure that you are REDIRECTING it away from a negative area to one that actually BENEFITS you!

While I know that this is much easier said than done, I promise that once you get good at it, you will feel absolutely GREAT! Be GREAT, Labrada fans! 🙂
