“PULL YOUR “BRAKES” IN A HURRY TO STOP YOUR WORRY!”

Hey, Labrada fans! I would not be telling the truth if I said that my life was not fast-paced and BUSY…by design! I love being ACTIVE and always having something to do. I consider this to be one of my greatest attributes and “driving” forces, but it is also something that can quickly work against me, if I do not pay attention and do my best to STAY PRESENT! If I do not control my SPEED, I realize that I am racing in a race that I will never win! Therefore, I have to “PULL MY BRAKES IN A HURRY” in order to immediately “STOP MY WORRY”!
Whenever I catch myself start to feel overwhelmed or anxious, it is ALWAYS because I am thinking about ALL of the things that I have scheduled…in the FUTURE! It is only when I recognize that I am letting my thoughts run away from me that I am able to do my best to pull them back in and focus on whatever it is that I am doing AT THAT MOMENT. It is only when I am putting my ATTENTION on my CURRENT activity that I am able to let go of the UNNECESSARY anxiety and WORRY! The reality is that the only thing that we truly have control over is our PRESENT situation!
Needlessly anticipating all of your FUTURE tasks will never be a benefit. I am not saying not to PLAN and SET GOALS ~ Believe me, I am the queen of TO-DO lists and GOAL PLANNING ~ But, the key is to focus on your current tasks and give them your ALL. By making the very BEST of your PRESENT, you create a FUTURE that follows suit! So, to all of you amazing Labrada Nutrition fans, when you feel that you are starting to add too much pressure and “speed”, remember to “PULL YOUR BREAKS IN A HURRY” in order to “STOP YOUR WORRY”!
