“I JUST DO IT!”

I am often asked how I am able to STAY so MOTIVATED…and how in the world I make it to the gym each and EVERY day…and what I do to stick to be able to stick to a HEALTHY DIET routinely… The truth is that there is no “magic” to it! Believe me, sometimes I wish that I had a magic wand up my sleeve because the REALITY is that it is NOT always easy! In fact, it is pretty DIFFICULT! But, over time, it gets EASIER! So, how do I do it? To quote from Nike…I “JUST DO IT”! 🙂
While there is no super secret “trick” to a healthy lifestyle, I can share some helpful tips for you to consider:
Take it ONE DAY AT A TIME!
Do not think too far ahead, as that tends to be overwhelming, but rather take it ONE DAY at a time!
WRITE DOWN your goals for the day and STICK TO THEM!
If you are a morning gym-goer, like myself, get your clothes laid out and your gym bag packed up the night before! KNOW what you are training and have a workout PLANNED out for yourself.
GET UP or GET THERE!
When the alarm goes off…GET UP! NO EXCUSES. Listen, you are going to be just as tired waiting another hour and getting up then. Instead, think about how AMAZING you are going to feel after a GREAT WORKOUT ~ and up and at ‘em! If you go after work, GET THERE! Do not come up with reasons as to why you cannot make it after work. Too tired? You will feel BETTER with a great workout and you will be SO GLAD that you did! Promise!
Do not fall into the “TOMORROW “ trap
You have no control over what may come in your future, but realize that what you DO TODAY can create a BETTER tomorrow! Do not put off getting yourself FEELING and LOOKING FABULOUS! Make TODAY your DAY to shine…and yes, do this again tomorrow…and the next…and…. (You see where I am going with this!) 🙂
Trust me that TRAINING and your DESIRE to GET HEALTHY and STAY FIT will become a part of you. Remember, this is not something that you should just “try out” for a while…this is YOUR LIFE…GET HEALTHY…STAY HEALTHY…“JUST DO IT”! 🙂
