by Lee Labrada

Hello everyone, Lee Labrada here.

First of all, I hope that you all had a great Holiday Season along with your family and loved ones!  I also wish you tons of good health and happiness in this New Year.

If one of your New Year Resolutions is to get in shape, I invite you to join us in our Lean Body Challenge.  The Lean Body Challenge is a great way for you to get into the Lean Body Lifestyle and win the battle of the bulge once and for all!

What is the Lean Body Challenge?

The Lean Body Challenge is a great way to get in shape by challenging yourself to meet your fitness goals head on. It’s an easy-to-follow, FREE 12-Week program designed to reshape your eating habits and provide you with a quality training and fitness program.  Most importantly, the Lean Body Challenge is designed to motivate you and permanently change your lifestyle to one that will foster health and a high level of fitness for many years to come.

What Does the Lean Body Challenge Consist Of?

The goal of the Lean Body Challenge is “personal transformation” so contestants are judged by how much improvement they make in 12 weeks, plus the impact that transformation has on their lives. So regardless of the shape you are in, you can participate.  You can either start the contest with the intentions of losing some excess fat and toning up, or start out thin with the intentions of gaining muscle.

The Grand Prize Winner of the Lean Body Challenge will receive:

  • An All-Expenses Paid trip to Houston, TX to train one on one with me, Lee Labrada, in my gym.
  • A One-Year Supply of Labrada/Lean Body Products.
  • An Official award certificate, suitable for framing.
  • Your photo & story posted on Labrada.com for all to see.
  • A Labrada Winners Jacket.
  • And last but not least, a 4-day trip for two on a Carnival Cruise to Cozumel, Mexico!

That’s right, when the New Year’s Lean Body Challenge Grand Prize Winner comes to Houston to train with me he/she will continue on a 4-day cruise for two out of Galveston, aboard the Carnival ship “Ecstacy” and cruise to sunny Cozumel, Mexico!  Are you ready to get onboard?!

Also, every finisher wins! You get a $100 bonus and a certificate of completion just for finishing the Lean Body challenge! Is there any reason not to sign up?

Getting Started

So how do you get started?  Once you accept the challenge, register to it by going to the Lean Body Challenge Registration Form.  Once you fill out all of the fields and submit the information, you will be registered.  Hurry, because the registration deadline is January 23rd!

Start the year off right by challenging yourself to get in better shape! If on the off chance you need something else to motivate you, the prizes are awesome! Trust me, there is nothing better than sitting on the front of the cruise ship at night watching the moon glisten off the water in the Gulf of Mexico!

Hi Lee and everybody, well about the challenge i think it’s a great way to star a new year, but Lee i’d really apreciate if you do and international challenge, the point is that as far as i know it’s only for residents in the u.s.a., but what about people like me who lives in Mexico and some other parts of the world, that we or at least I am really interested in participating and of course win the Grand Prize.

    Thanks.
P.D. I’ll be waiting for a personal answer Lee!.

    Hi Everyone,

This time last year I decided to enter the Lean Body Challenge, only 5 months after my treatment for throat cancer. It was challenging, but it was an amazing opportunity for me to get back in shape and get my life back.

And now, do you know what’s happening to me in 3 weeks? I’m going to train with Mr. Lee Labrada, and after that my wife, my son and I going on a fantastic cruise to Cozumel. I’m the winner of the New Year 2008 Lean Body Challenge! I encourage everyone to enter the Lean Body Challenge – it’s an amazing experience and so rewarding!

All the best, to all of you!

I too have decided to enter the challenge. I have entered before but never finished due to making excuses for myself. 2008 was the worst year ever being separated from my wife, losing my job, death of my great grandmother, and grandmother. I went back to my old eating habits and alcohol to cope with the pain and depression. I can no longer allow this and plan to take my photos tomorrow and turn things around in my life.

To Martin, Congrats on winning, the prizes are amazing! Training with Lee is something that you will never forget! After that, you get whisked away on a cruise that is unbelievable.
To those people still on the fence, I can’t reiterate enough how this program will change your life. Start it, compete in it, and finish it!! Good luck!

I am the first winner of the LBC for Vitamin Shoppe employees.

I placed second to Martin last year at 48 years old. I’ve been committed to weight lifting for more than 30 years, yet I was really surprised how simply being entered in the challenge really increased my focus on my goal of getting in really good shape. I was very pleased with my results, but my competition was strong. Congratulations to Martin on placing first in our age group and winning the grand champion award. To all those aware of Lee’s LBC – quit thinking about it and sign up. I think you’ll surprise yourself.

Hi martin, your story was so amazing. In my young age today (25), i feel so sorry to my body that almost the entire life of my live, i neglected my body and as a result
so many dissease come to my body:
1.High Blood Presure (just check today: 160/110)
I have medicine of (farnonim, norvask and triatex)
    2.Scoliosis at my lower back (Lumbar 3 / L3)
3.Early diagnose of Ostheorhritis and osteoporosis at my neck, shoulder and leg

All of this because i treat my body badly. As a result:
    1.I was overweight: 200 pounds.
    2.My body fat : around 27%

    My habit before today was:
1.Like to eating junkfood, like Fried Chicken
2.Like to eat crispy potatoes during my watch day at my lovely television and
    dvd player
3.Never ever working out and do not like to do any sport
(the last time i did sport when i was 15, just for 2 year basketball activities).

Hope you can share tips and trick or you can share me your story behind your struggle so you can tacke down your biggest obstacle, which is a throat cancer.

    Hi Adytya,

Thanks for your comment. First I think it’s important than today you realized what you did wrong in the past. You know what you need to do. You need to change your lifestyle and your behavior.

If I can give you a tips, don’t try to change everything at once. Some people can do it, but only few. The better approach ( for me ) is to make some small change. Try to make 1 or 2 things differents a week and stick with it. Next week add 1 more and just keep going.

I give you some example; Start to eat smaller portion, start to walk regurlarly few times a week, and for me what is the most important, you need to know your food categories. To be able to make some good choice with your nutrition you need to know it. (Carbs, Protein and fats).

After few weeks when you will looking back you will ba surprised with all the change you did.

Don’t forget to right your goals down. Make sure those goals are SMART

    S pecific
    M easurable
    A ttainable
    R ealistic
    T ime frame

Start with this and let me know how it’s goes

    All the best

Martin Bolduc, Winner of the New Year Lean Body Challenge 2008
