“Red Fruits” High Protein Greek Yogurt Recipe

Who never dreamed of eating anything they want while still being able to stay in shape ?

Here is where the problem starts. When you’re thinking about food, you’re immediately thinking about gaining weight. Of course, the next thing that enters your mind is the word DIET. Then you conclude that to be in shape, you have to DIET.

What is wrong with this ?

The world DIET means “to me” a temporary action that will lead you to the shape you want temporarily. Well, maybe you’re dieting just for a summer body or for a competition and when the goal is reached, this will be the end of the diet. Here is when the bad habits come back. Am I wrong ?

Every time you start a diet and reach your goal, you have a feeling of accomplishment and then, that’s it. Once many of you get to the finish line, you stop all of your good habits and slowly go back to the bad ones. What does that really mean ? ALL YOUR HARD WORK IS GONE ! Isn’t it harder to start over again and again every time you feel that you’re not in shape anymore ? If you want the secret for permanent results, here it is: To be able to stay in shape all year long, you need to BAN the word DIET !


All you have to do is create new habits that allow you to stay consistent with your program. Eliminate bad fats, bad sugar, and opt for HEALTHY food options. It’s as simple as that. Eat more vegetables and fruits if you’re still hungry or craving sugar. Drink PLENTY of water, and on top of that, exercise and the weight lost will come naturally. Just the fact that you replace the BAD food by vegetables and fruits will have a huge impact on your weight loss efforts.

Now, I am not saying that you should never have a treat, but just don’t exaggerate. (Very important : stay away from every processed food you can find, any soda and all those sugary cakes full of hydrogenated oil and high fructose corn syrup. On top of that, stay away from everything that has a label where you can NOT pronounce or understand the ingredients !)

The point is that when you eat healthy, you should enjoy every one of your meals so that you do not feel like you’re « dieting ». You can add some green pepper, onions or spices in your meals instead of butter and bacon for example. And when you feel like eating sweet, just replace one of your meals by a HEALTHY dessert ! (Don’t forget that for increasing your metabolism it is better to eat more often; little portions of proteins, carbs and fats spread over 5 to 6 meals a day).

Here is a simple tip that I follow myself when I feel like eating a heavy dessert : I create one !! 🙂

Below I will share one of my favorite healthy high protein desserts.

NOTE : The full recipe makes one serving for guys and 2 servings for us ladies.

Greek “Red Fruits” Hi Protein Yogurt Recipe


  • 1 cup (227g) of FAGE All Natural NONFAT Greek strained yogurt (make sure it is 0% fat).
  • 1 scoop Lean pro 8 strawberry
  • 5 strawberries
  • 22 raspberries
  • 8 blackberries

Method of Preparation

  • Put 1 cup (227g) of Greek yogurt in a bowl.STRAWBERRY
  • In another cup, mix your protein with just a little amount of water until the protein looks like cream.
  • Create a hole in the middle of your Greek yogurt and pour the shake in. You can create any shape you want 🙂 (I do a heart because I often do this dessert for my other half 😉 )
  • Cut the strawberries into thin slices and position them in a nice way, add the raspberries and blackberries

And here you go, this is ready !! 🙂

Isn’t it simple ? That is a very quick and yummy recipe. You can serve that to any guests that are invited in your house for coffee time for example. And if you’re in a hurry, you don’t have to make it so pretty; just mix everything from the beginning and that will not take you more than 2 minutes 😉

You can do this simple recipe with any protein taste or any fruits you want. I’ve tried it with vanilla taste protein powder with some peach, apricot and mango. Trust me, it is AS DELICIOUS !

Don’t forget, eating healthy doesn’t mean privation ! There is always a fun, healthy and delicious way to have a healthy lifestyle 😉
