When driving your car, you watch your gas gauge to make sure you have enough fuel to get where you are going.
Much like your car your body burns fuel to get you where you want to go.
The preferred fuel of your body is glucose or blood sugar.
If your tank is “full” with glucose it doesn’t have to look any further.
The only way to lose fat is by running your tank of glucose low so your body has to go find more fuel in the form of fat.
There is no way to burn fat while you have glucose running around.
Your body prefers glucose to body fat.
If you want to lose fat you have to either lower your carbohydrates or use them up during physical activity.
Simply put: Fat control = Carbohydrate control.
