Today’s recipe, Salmon Burger with Lime Mayo is sure to become one of your favorites!
Easy to prepare and packed with tons of delicious flavors, this meal will help you build lean muscle and blast away body fat in no time flat.
Salmon burger with Lime Mayo
2 cans Pink Salmon, packed in water
½ ea. Red onion, diced; (set aside 2 Tbs. for use in mayonnaise)
2 Tbs. green onion, sliced
1 Tbs. Soy sauce, low sodium
2 Tbs. Lime juice
1 Tbs. Old Bay seafood seasoning
1 ea. Whole egg
½ cup Bread crumbs, whole wheat
1 Tbs. lime juice
1 Tbs. Mayonnaise, low fat
2 slices Whole wheat bread
6 leaves red leaf lettuce
½ ea. Tomato, thinly sliced
Method of Preparation
- In a glass bowl combine first 9 ingredients and blend until well combined. Form into 2 large patties.
- In a non-stick pan over medium high heat, add 2 tsp. olive oil and heat the patties until browned, about 3 minutes per side.
- In a small bowl, combine mayo, red onion and lime juice and mix well. Spread onto wheat bread and top with lettuce and sliced tomato. Add burger last and enjoy!
