Obesity and You
by Jesse de la Cruz
It has been a little bit since I have last posted due to undergoing pursuit of a Masters degree in Nursing. The first semester was a rough indoctrination, but I made it through and know it wil be worth it. Enough of that though…
I am concerned with recent research that tell us that the obesity rate may hit 42 percent by 2030, and with it a rise in health care costs. This figure is up from 36 percent in 2010. The problems with increased obesity are the things that go with it:
1) An increase in Type 2 Diabetes (rampant in our home state of Texas)
2) Heart disease
4) Many types of cancer and sleep apnea.
This affliction is a major concern for someone like me on the fron lines of both health (medicine) and fitness (bodybuilding)…
So what can you do to keep yourself out of the obesity statistic??? I will provide you with some helpful steps in my next blog.
In the meantime, please check out the sample diets below from this site which will help you to stay on target:

Until then, “Stay Strong”
