“WANT RESULTS YOU CAN SEE AND FEEL? THEN NEVER SKIP A MEAL!”

Are you looking for results that you can SEE and FEEL? Well, Labrada fans, then NEVER SKIP A MEAL! Unless you are trying out for a role as “Oscar the Grouch”, there is never a good reason to skip your meals!

All joking aside, besides the fact that not feeding your body properly tends to cause you to become IRRITABLE, there are many more serious health risks involved, also! Typically, the reasons for skipping meals are either that you are trying to LOSE WEIGHT or that you are TOO BUSY. I am going to tell you why SKIPPING MEALS is NOT A SOLUTION for either of these excuses!

“TRYING TO LOSE WEIGHT”
If you fall into the first category, you need to pay attention here: STARVING YOURSELF DOES NOT WORK!

When you deprive your body of food, your metabolism actually SLOWS down! (Which is the opposite effect of what you want when trying to BURN FAT and lose weight!) Therefore, the next time that you actually do eat something, your body does not WORK as quickly to break down the food, leaving more to be STORED as fat! NOT the goal that you are looking for, right? Your body’s metabolism is like a fireplace…you need to keep adding “logs” (FOOD) to the “fire” (METABOLISM) in order to keep the “fire blazing” (“BURNING” CALORIES!!) So, feed you fire, LABRADA NUTRITION fans!!

Further, when you do not eat, the level of your blood sugar drops, causing you to become SLUGGISH and TIRED! You cannot OPERATE AT YOUR BEST when you do not eat! Even worse, consistently skipping meals will do long-term damage to your insulin levels, which can make you more prone to developing DIABETES later in life! It is not worth it! EAT HEALTHY in order to STAY HEALTHY! Which, brings me to my next point…in order to BE HEALTHY, you have to have ADEQUATE NUTRITION! Taking multi-vitamins, although beneficial, will not supplement for nutrients that you take in through food consumption! So to repeat, in order to BE HEALTHY, you have to EAT HEALTHY!

Well, what is the best way to accomplish this? Ideally, look to eat between 5 and 7 WELL-BALANCED meals, consisting of PROTEIN, CARBS, and HEALTHY FATS, evenly spaced throughout the day!

“TOO BUSY”
If your EXCUSE is that you are TOO BUSY, prepare AHEAD of time! Prepare a meal to take with you ON THE GO! If you do not even have time to do that, I still have a GOOD SOLUTION! Always BE PREPARED!     Just wondering how you recommend minimizing loose skin when you’re losing weight quickly? For example your legs, stomach, and under your arms?
