With the temperature heating up, it’s a great time to fire up the blender and experiment with some high protein smoothies. I have provided a few quick recipes that will help cool you off while helping you stick with your physique goals.

Chocolate Cheesecake Shake
Yield: 1 serving
Ingredients:
1 scoop Lean Pro 8 – Chocolate
1 cup Skim milk
2 Tbs. Cream cheese, fat-free
1 Tbs. Chocolate pudding mix; sugar-free, fat-free
1 cup Ice
Method:
Place all ingredients in a blender and mix until smooth. Serve cold.
The Eye-Opener
Yield: 1 Serving
Ingredients:
½ cup Greek yogurt, plain, fat-free
1 cup Coffee, brewed and cooled
1 Tbs. Peanut butter, organic & no salt added
1 packet Carb-watchers MRP – Chocolate ice cream
1 cup Ice
Method:
Place all ingredients in a blender on high for 1 minute or until a smooth consistency has been reached. Serve cold.
Luau Smoothie
Yield: 1 serving
Ingredients:
1 cup Skim milk
3 ea. Strawberries, tops removed and halved
½ cup Pineapple, chopped or a splash of pineapple juice (100% juice)
1 ea. Banana
1 Tbs. Shredded coconut
1 scoop ProV60 – Vanilla ice cream
1 cup Ice
Method:
Place all ingredients in a blender and mix until smooth. Serve cold.
Berries & Cream
Yield: 1 serving
Ingredients:
1 cup Skim milk
½ cup Blueberries
½ cup Strawberries, tops removed and halved
½ cup Raspberries
1 scoop Lean Pro 8 – Vanilla ice cream
½ cup Ice
Method:
Place Ice, all berries and milk in a blender on high for 30-45 seconds. Next, add in Lean Pro 8 and blend for an additional 30-45 seconds.
Melon Chiller
Yield: 1 Serving
Ingredients:
1/2 cup Skim milk
½ cup Cantaloupe, chopped
½ cup Honeydew melon, chopped
½ cup Watermelon, chopped & seeds removed
1 scoop Lean Pro 8 – Strawberry ice cream
1 cup Ice
Method:
Place all ingredients except protein powder in a blender on high and mix for 45 seconds. Next, add Lean Pro 8 and blend for an additional 30 seconds. Serve cold.
Flaxed –Out Strawberry Banana Smoothie
Yield: 1 Serving
Ingredients:
1 ½ cups Skim milk
1 ea. Banana, cut into pieces
½ cup Strawberries, tops removed and halved
1 scoop ProV60 – Strawberry ice cream
1 Tbs. Ground flaxseed
1 cup Ice
Method:
Place all ingredients in a blender and mix until smooth. Serve cold.
