For sore muscles, make sure you take the time to stretch for 10-15 minutes after each workout.  Using a foam roller to relieve your muscles helps, too.  
 
Delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS) can slow you down in the 48 hours following an intense weight training workout, so I also recommend trying Labrada BCAA Powder drink mix to let branched chain amino acids stimulate and quicken muscle recovery.  My favorite is the Fruit Punch flavor.
